Why are we doing this?: Wrexham County Borough Council is looking at the way it provides day and work opportunities and respite services for people with disabilities. There have been changes over the past few years and the Council wants to make sure that people receiving care and support and their carers have a genuine say in how things look in the future.
What do we want to know?: The Council has appointed an independent consultancy, Hugh Irwin associates (HICO), to review current arrangements and suggest models for the future. As part of this, they will be talking with users and carers about what is important to them and what they might want to see changed in the future. They want to get as many views as possible and will be feeding these back to the Council to help them shape future support.
