Why are we doing this?: The LA has a statutory responsibility to ensure that there are suitable and sufficient school places available in Wrexham. By regularly reviewing the number of school places in Wrexham, the authority can address the changing forecast of demand and respond to rapid changes in demographics. This ensures that there are enough school places, of the right type, in the right location
What do we want to know?: We are especially interested in views about the proposed criteria and the models for school organisation contained within the Strategy, as well as overall views on the Strategy itself.
The feedback received from the consultation will inform the new School Organisation Strategy, which will influence decisions about future school organisation over the next 10 years in Wrexham County Borough.
